‘What you do when waiting for the bus or avoiding work….’

  • tweeting (may be a few Bangaloreans?)
  • searching on Google (students?)
  • checking stock prices
  • listening to music, checking Youtube
  • reading (no pun intended… this was a popular option till recently)

Most likely Facebook?  ‘And that constant lure, a fix you can easily satisfy both on a phone and a desktop computer, explains why Facebook is pulling ahead of every other large technology company right now.’

I am on Facebook and I have nothing against any social media.

While I see many posts regarding mindfulness and related topics on social media, why don’t we use some free time (a scarce commodity in this extremely networked world) to positively disconnect? Moreso, when it is an urgent need, for a lot many.
