At the core of ICF framework to professional coaching practice is the set of coaching competencies.
We normally start with this coaching competency, Active Listening.
– This is one of the key competencies,
– one that we often struggle with,
– something that we can overcome with focus & effort.
It may appear easy to master active listening. But it takes a lot of awareness and conscious effort to make active listening part of the coaching conversation. All in the service of the coachee, client.
